I'll prob throw on the big meats that were on the aluminums.. or maybe the black steelies..

I'm thinking that the N50's I had will no longer fit because the wheel well was pulled back out some by the rocker.. closer to stock. I'm hoping I at least can get 295's on.. will they fit on 8" steelies?

Hi Fish, mine is black too and will be going in for paint next month, what type of paint did you decide on?  I'm trying to decide what type, how many coats of base and clear etc.

It's RM paint.. and it's a shade of the "blackest" black. 3 color coats and 4 clear coats. We wet sanded w/ 2000 then did a 3-stage buff on each panel.

"almost" looks to nice to drive.. Guess I'll just have to get used to driving it like that. hehe  going to pick her up on Sunday and the assembly begins     Lost of pics to come once the hood is on. Will have to do a better job resizing, I know.

Well nice job ken glad to see you got your car done the way you want it to be.Hope to see it at carlise next year.I am going to get kenny to repaint my car in a few years due to i have some dings in it from a show and some scratches and chips.Watch out at them shows and the road black show everything.

I can't believe you are getting yours repainted already. You going w/ a different color? It's a lot of work to repaint. You still looking for a 71 vert?

Well some one dinged my car ken and also got some scratches from being at shows and people around it and kenny said he wants to make it nicer then the convertible was which to me i was like wow better then that cause that car was a beauty.Same color but he is going to get out some sand scratches left in it from when our buddy did the body work he did not get out the scratches and it bugs kenny he said should of finished himself but hard due to we were moving and building the house at the time and he had no spare time plus neighbors were so nosy had to take over buddies house and he said he would take car of it.But kenny wants to make it right for me so prob next winter he is repainting his GTO chamelon again next season  and adding more colors.He is never satisified but i  dont know any body or paint guy that is ever satisfied what looks good to normal people drives them nuts cause they know all the inperfections.Car is comping up on 5 years painted so he said time to freshen her up.Cant wait to see the cuda in blk in person pictures wont do it justice better in person.I am so happy you got your car the way u want it.As for the VERT question i will get one eventually but i love my car.Kenny knows where there is a 71 cuda convt 383 car but guy still holding on to it a project but we will see what happens the guy said if he sells kenny gets first shot.He has been so busy he is restoring his other  68 gto convertible triple black and a 1970 convertible GTO and a 1969 ss camaro convertible for neighbors so his time is limited he said once those are done he will paint his then mine.Some time next year.
