Thanks, No, had it sand blasted and used SEM Trim Black, the same as the rest of the bottom.

Well I am finally getting the panels back on.  Here are some shot after aligning the doors, fenders and hood. Now I should be able to start on the body work.

Finally getting back to it. I painted the hinges and latch and now have the hood back on and starting to block it for painting!

Finally got the vinyl top put on, now I am working on the straightening and buffing the moldings.  Then I need to decide if I want to put in air conditioning or not.  Now would be the time to do it if I am.

First time I've seen this thread... Looking Good!... One comment, do with it what you wish.. Your over axle brake line is for an 8.75... The Dana line will follow the contour of the back cover pretty closely... Wont hurt anything but your car looks so good I'd want that corrected....

You are absolutely right, I knew I should have taken it back at the time, but I just put it off.  It will be replaced at some point, my anal self wont be able to deal with it

Actually in 1970 and 71 the E Body Dana 60 used the same brake line as the 8 3/4 rear axle, so your is correct although it looks a little bent out of shape like it was originally for a wider rear end.

The Dana 60 lines that follow more the contour of the Dana shape are a 69 and older B Body thing.

Seems like I'd remember that since I had the back cover off the Dana in my 71 Hemi Challenger a few time back in the day... But I don't.... So I really question if your correct....
