Update on sloow progress on 70 Challenger - Updated 12-9-2014
« on: September 18, 2007 - 09:20:24 PM »
I just realized that I keep asking people to keep the pictures coming, but I haven't sent any of mine.  Been working on the bottom of the car most of the summer, fill rust pits and getting it in primer.  The front clip is just about ready for the filler primer, so I will update when that is done also.

Thanks, so many people were asking me how it was coming that it just made it easier, plus it makes it easier for me to keep track of the sources I want to use.

Yeah, the rotisserie makes all the difference, plus when I am done I can trade it for some more parts I need!  :naughty:

Mines on a rotisserie too.
I just finished the trunk area. So I've been bent over working inside quite often. I'm almost ready to flip it on it's side.

You're in Michigan, right?  I'd like to put mine on a rotisserie when I'm ready.  I was going to build my own, but getting a used one might be easier.

Looks great, BTW.   :grinyes: :2thumbs:

That looks awesome :2thumbs:  What are you using as filler, and what kind of primer? Thanks

Thanks, for filler I use Rage Xtreme and the urethane high build primer is Ultimate 2K by Mar-Hyde.  My brother in-law owned a body shop and always said he liked that primer, so far I would have to agree.

How tall is the challenger when it's on it's side?I'm going to put mine on the rotisserie soon and i hope my garage is tall enough.
