Very nice,, how much more do you need to do berfore you start painting?
Well this is how I see it ...
Next I need to fill the grind marks in the trunk and get it in urethane primer.
Then I can finish sand the bottom and engine compartment and paint them, Hot Rod black on the bottom and black out areas, and gloss black for the engine compartment.
Next I can have the rear suspension sand blasted and paint them, purchase and install the gas and brake lines and get the car back on the ground, after having the rally wheels blasted, painted, and purchase the new tires (BFG 235 15's on the front, 255 15's on the back)
Then comes the engine rebuild and painting of the rest of the drive train, and the painting and assembly of the front suspension, and get the front back on the ground.
Then I can finally fit the doors, and front sheet metal so the gaps will be right, and get the body all looking straight.
So in short, it is still going to be a while. I do all the work my self and only spend about 10 hours a week on it, but I love working on it so I don't really care how long it takes, plus I have to save up for some of the parts as I go.
