Putting in breather fittings is on the list of things to do. With the old valley pan, the breather fittings were part of it. Now I have to make a new one. At this point, the oil fill cap is the distributor plug...

I kinda thought the distributor plug was the oil fill, but I couldn't see it. :2thumbs:

It's been a busy holiday season, but I've got a few things done, the most visible being the MAF sensor and intake tube. Also got the throttle hooked up. I still have a bunch of wiring cleanup to do and I am redoing the exhaust. I messed up the spacing between the trans and the exhaust enough to where there wasn't enough room to hook up the shifter. Also scored a slap stick and I'm modifying that (what else is new) so I can hook it to the trans without the bellcrank assy. The edelbrock throttle body needs a different cable end to connect to it so I had to figure that out too. I started it up tonight with no exhaust to test out the throttle pedal - yeah it works.

Well, the intake hits the hood, not sure what I am going to do about that. Pretty much right where the throttle body attaches

Unfortunately it is going to take more than just machining the one edge, I'm probably going to have to make a slot cut in the lower part of the scoop opening. Meanwhile I started putting some of the trim back on and some of the glass. I haven't had the stainless back on the drip rails since about 1987. It's nice to see it on there again, and the rear windows too...
