I like the way this came out. Not much I can do about it and the similarities to No. 5 (no diasassemble!) but this is more interesting to look at and doesn't look out of place. Since completely welded the inside and outside of the parts, I can smooth out welds (figures the welds on the inside came out nice while the stuff on the outside is eh..) Anyway, now I need to get the throttle linkage worked out....

bummer - the uploader is full will have to try again in the morning....

Try using Photobucket top host your pics - then you don't have to worry about losing them in the thread if the board crashes again.

all crappy welding was done by me..
Can't access photobucket from work - it's blocked. Maybe I'll figure something else out.

Thanks guys, I still need to get the injector holes redone (drilled too deep) so I'll have to weld them up and have a buddy redrill them on his mill. My drill press doesn't have enough mass to make a clean cut. Glad I bought the tool to drill them out.

I was out of town for the last week. My buddy finished milling the intake, got some new bungs, it's all fit up. If I can I might try and weld it up tonight. No promises though.

Did you apply any geometry to positioning the injectors, or are they just pointed as downstream as you can get them?

It would have been cool to angle them into the port and more towards the intake valve, but since I don't have my own mill to set it up on, I just went with as close to the manifold flange as possible and centered on the runner. I was not able to point them downstream too much because of the close proximity of the -8 rail to the intake runner, and the amount of space needed by the injector plug. I'm trying to make the wiring as clean as possible so there are some compromises I made to accomplish that.

things are getting closer, have to do some tweaking of the injector height to get the regulator back to where it was so the lines will hook up. Added some breather fittings to the valley pan.

Standard disclaimer: I know my welding sucks  :misbehaving:
