Is there a rule of thumb on how to set the injector bung height?  I've got my bungs, rails and injectors, but haven't drilled the intake yet.

When I had mine welded in, the bottoms of the bungs hung into the runner. When I cleaned them up with a die grinder, so much material was remove that it almost got to the area where the o-ring has to seal on it's sides. If I knew it would have done that, I would have had them up a little higher.  Think about this when measuring.

This was the same reason I had to redo mine, I made the installed height of the insert too short and it broke through. After putting the tank in the car, with a -10 adapter in the tank and a 90 degree fitting, the clearance to the differential was/is too close. I ended up adding a fitting to the side of the sump in the rear and will have to plug the fittings on the front of the sump. Oh well. I thought there would be more clearance than that but things happen. Anyway with the long weekend, I'm hoping to get most of the fuel system stuff finished so I can undercoat/paint the back end of the car.

Got the rear underside of the car undercoated (bedliner stuff) that was a messy experience. came out pretty nice. Have to do the inside of the trunk next.

Shake and shoot from dominion sure seal. I used their tintable version last night for inside the trunk. Did the underside and inside the trunk in the last 3 days, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Yea, I know what you mean.  It seems like the mountain of stuff that I have left to do the car is higher than Everest. Seeing everyone's progress helps keep me motivated too.  :grinyes:

The tintable bedliner uses the same paint that you use on the car, minus the "binder" and reactive reducer components (basically just the color itself). It makes the liner more expensive since you need about a 12 ounces of color to tint each of the containers of liner (4 per package, 3oz of color per quart of shootable liner). It should be pretty durable and give a little sound deadening.
