Im Leaving For Iraq
« on: September 19, 2007 - 11:32:54 PM »
Friends, Members & Family

The time has come to say good bye for the third time.  Tomorrow I will be deployed for up to 15 mo. maybe 18 mo.  I want to take the time and thank everyone who was involved with the "The Cuda Guy Project", you have truly made my last few months some of the most wonderful months ever.  I have driven the cuda all over!  I truly am living my dream!  I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful group of people to call friends.  You guys and gals are some of the best people ever to exist!  I love my place here at cuda-challenger.com and have always wanted to be able to express my love for this site and the people that make it so.  I now find that ever so challenging!  What you guys and gals did for me and my family will never be forgotten!  I just don’t know how to thank you all?  If I can do anything for anyone at any time please let me know.  I’m so lost trying to write this letter that I want to express myself but I don’t think the words exist!  I can’t wait to come home and take the cuda to Carlisle for our reunion in the summer of 2009!  I still owe many people a ride!  My father would like me to express his thanks to all of you as well; he is here with me getting ready to send me off again.  My wife would like to thank you all for making her husbands dream come true she said "your finally complete" LOL!!!  I don’t know why she would say such a thing....  Thank you all.  I will do my best to keep in contact, I don’t know how much access to the net I will have but I will try to stop in.  If anyone is interested I will post my address once I get it.  I hate to end this note but I have to get going so few minutes left here.  Thank you all for everything.

Don

Don,

It was a priviledge to meet with your family and you again. Stay in touch with us all when you get a chance. We all will be thinking of you when you're gone.

Stay safe. I'll see you at Carlisle.
Mike, Fremont, CA.
