Oops,   I didn't type the reason like I planned even though I heard it in my head.

I was on the road for 16.5 hours, 13-1/2 driving, and 3 hours trying to sleep in my Challenger back seat. (too small).       The rest of the time, I was buying gas.  I wanted to see carlisle once and The CudaGuy event was a great reason to do it, so unless another car is being given away TO ME, it was too far too drive without an ocean or a string of free playboy bunny hookers being there to meet me.

  I would have thought getting to see me again would be enough reason to come to Carlisle again.      For what it's worth, I would have tried to sleep on the ground before I tried to sleep in my back seat.

The company I work for has landed a major contract in Saudi Arabia and I am being signed up to be the project manager on site. My wife has simply said that I am not going. I am now faced with saying no and being fired or going and taking my life in my hands and a wife who could possibly become a single parent. The only incentive I would have to go is if I could carry, really, really carry.

Good timing on your post Alan, I have been thinking of Don also. I was checking out some clips on Ebaumsworld and saw a couple of videotaped ambush ied videos that really got my goat. It is bad enough to see one of our vehicles ambushed by cowards who plant the ied's under seclusion of night but the fact that they have a camera setup to capture the carnage just infuriates me. I wish we could find a way to set these ied's off in advance of convoys or a better way to spy out these cowards while they are planting the device. Don, come back safe and sound and bring everyone with you. A day does not go by without me thinking of and offering thanks to our men and women in uniform out there fighting. Here is to this thing getting wrapped up as soon as possible.

Thanks guys for your support.  The troops thank you guys as well.  Weather you agree with the war or not we are still here and this thing doesnt look like its slowing down one bit!  In fact it has picked up speed if you ask me.  But thanks again we need you guys in times like these!
