Thanks Jackie.

What about all of the linkage and wiring?  I know it will have different throttle linkage, only six plug wires, etc; but is there anything else?

I was just wondering if anyone on here has a Slant 6 Challenger/Cuda that is in running condition.  I just thought it would be unique to have one since most of them have been converted to a V8.

I cannot afford one right now, I am just curious.

Hi Jacks,
Finally got a chance to check out this thread. Very fun reading! Well you know I got a slant sixer, but its going the way most of them went. But I will tell you this. Before I yanked it, I drove it for a day on a temporary tag. It was actually pretty powerful. I was very surprised. It was pretty strong from 0 to 30. But it had a stumble and I think it was due to a bad carb. But it was fun. Not the complete dog that I thought it would be.

Thanks for the info Finoke.  I figured that it would be a decent performer for a slant-6. :2thumbs:

Wang and Jackie crack me up  :roflsmiley:

With all of this chatting about a slant-6 E-body, I might just have to start saving my spare change to built one.
I already have an engine, tranny, and rear that I can use, I just need a rolling body and correct k-member.  I might just have to use a 318 car and do the swap.  I would rather not do that, but I doubt I will ever find an original car with a decent price.  Might even have to consider a 72-74 to get a good price.  hummm......  May have to think about this for a while.

Why didn't you just ask? I had my slant 6 for 5 years. And I drove the $hit out of it. :burnout:  I even beat a 273 with it. And I tell ya, I could catch rubber off wet leaves. :smilielol: :smilielol: No really it ran great. I bought the car to drive for awhile and ended up really liking it. But, you know the rest of the story. Mopar Performance use to have a lot of upgrade parts for slant 6's.  P.S. Wang cracks me up, too.

Hey Jackie,
Do you remember what gear ratio was in your car?

Now see, a guy would always know how big a woman's rear was.  Unlike the other guys here, I'm staying away from this.   :misbehaving:
