They played the accident on ESPN2 at the beginning of the race coverage. It was a bad one.  The car broke in half.  It will be shown again in about 30 minutes or so on the Deuce.  It happened in round 2 of Funny Car.  Injuries don't appear to be life threateneing, but  they are significant.  He is done for this year.  '07 has been a tough year for Team Force and my prayers are with them....

It looks like something blew off of Force's car causing Bernsteins car to veer into him.  I wonder exactly what happened?

Amazing...
Glad he is ok and hope he makes a full recovery.  I hate the thought of his career ending from an accident.

I saw Ashley do her run but I flipped back to the Nascar Race and missed her fathers accident.  I hate see that to such an Icon of the sport!

Knowing how John is, He'll be back next year!

It's weird how things are presented by the media..... according to the video, the reporter says (according to Bernstein's spokesman) that John Force's chassis broke in half and his engine and front 2 wheels were in Kenny's lane and that's what Kenny hit.

If you look at the video, Kenny B. hit a cone or something and sent it into Force's car, causing mechanical failure senting Force into Berstein's car.
