Just for lack of info, is the sublime T/A the car that the stripe is in question or is it being used just as an example.  If it has a T/A hood, then I don't see anything else except a T/A stripe, IMO.  :2cents:

In reference to what mcgheejt mentioned, how common was body side moulding?  I see less cars with it than I do striped cars.

I think, I could be very wrong here, that if you got the body side moulding from the factory, I don't think you could get a side stripe?  Any opinions?  The only time I've seen body side moulding with a side stripe or in the case of the '72-'74 Challenger Rallyes with the fender louvers is when the owner added them in.

My car is a Rallye car but came from the factory with body side moulding, but no louvers on the front fenders.  Weird, eh?  :clueless:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

My car is a cloned T/A, top pic (factory T/A hood).  I'm definitely not putting the factory T/A style stripe with the 340 six-pack decals back on it.  I don't like having to explain it's not a real T/A and only has a 4bbl.   It's either going to be a T/A style stripe, without the T/A, just solid black, or no stripe at all.

What was the fender tag code for that?   :clueless:    :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

I'm thinking duct tape for mine to break up the blue and black contrast....

Thanks for the info Katfish, not I git it!  :thinkerg:

You were thinking small stripe or no stripe at all..... the '71 style stype makes it look racier than the '70 style, IMO.

It's either going to be a T/A style stripe, without the T/A,

I have a set of T/A stripes without the T/A letters (just solid black), if you want to buy them.  I was going to put them on my car, but I went with the '71 stripes at the last minute.  Let me know (or anyone else).

I guess some people would like it but to me it looks like a child got loose with a pinstriping brush and a freshly painted car  :eek2:
