Choke Plate CFM Difference?

Anyone happen to know if/what the usual difference is on carb flow with and without a choke plate installed?

I'm sorry I don't know the exact CFM, or equasion, but yes there is a difference. That's why racing carbs have no choke plate. I wish I could offer more here.

Thanks, we'll see next time i take it out i guess. I never noticed my choke plate on my eddie is only held on with two bolts and a couple clips....its now all in a baggy in my tool box. lol

Yes, the choke plate will mess with airflow even when it's wide open. Those of us in the North need that choke though.  Good luck

it makes a lot more difference if the choke horn is remove & the entrance into the venturis is blended but it will definatly improve
