Another Canadian new guy
« on: September 29, 2007 - 08:19:24 AM »
Well I've been lurking about for a few weeks now(mainly checking cars for sale) but after dragging home my new project I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been on Dodgecharger.com for a few years and have got the Charger to a state where I wanted a new project. I found a one owner Challenger that had the options I was looking for and made the 2200km round trip to pick it up.
I am not a mechanic but did do all but the paint and engine machine work on my charger so I'll be looking for help and suggestions on this car.
The Challenger is a one owner un-molested Rallye 360 with 3.55 posi. The interior is perfect with no tears or cracks. The body has little more rust than described by seller but no more than I actually expected. All the trim and chrome is great and intact so I won't have to be searching for those little pieces.
The plans for the car are to install a engine that I aquired back in August but keep the car as stock appearing as possible.
I wasn't real keen on the color but its growing on me.

Having problems posting pics so will try later.

Welcome to the forum.  Best thing to do for pics is get an account at a place like www.photobucket.com (thats where I did it).  Its free and easy.  Then just upload the pictures (they must be no larger than 800 x 600) then when you display your album it will have 4 different links underneath each picture.   Copy the link for embedding pictures and paste it into your forum post.  The pictures will link to photobucket and be displayed in your post.  The trickiest part is getting the pictures to 800x600, but that can be done by 1) changing your digital camera settings 2) editing the picture with your photo editor to resize the picture.
