Very nice :clapping: Did you have any trouble with indexing the bell house? Are you running the hydraulic clutch?

No trouble with bellhousing but we did have trouble when we put the motor in that the trans was hitting the passenger side floor. We are also having a problem getting the pullies to line up for the fan belts.

Hi Everyone
I can't believe it's been so long since I updated this post :bricks1:!
I have not gotten a whole lot done to the car but here are a couple of pictures.
I have been researching alot on what to do with the accessory pumps and pulleys. Not sure how I'm going to proceed there yet.
For now all I have done is the water pump housing.
I also got the steering box back and installed. It is a Firm feel stage two unit. The mounting was real close on the TTI headers but there is some room now, had to ping dent one tube. It was the same area that I had to dent on the last one we installed with Shumaker mounts.
Also did a little interior work installing the dash gauges and the head liner. I gave up on the card board correct one as I have found no good solutions for a replacement so it got a standard liner.
I still need to steam it to get a few areas smoother, but overall not bad.
The speaker box dimensions I promised are going to take longer than expected as we found a major rework we need to do ,the right box has to be redone as we missed the fuel fill tube area by about a 1/2 inch and it interferes.
As soon as we get it done I'll post the measurement for the people that asked.
Well that's it for now and hope to post more as time permits.
Dave

That disco ball is a nice touch :icon16:

You should create a slideshow of all the photos so that we can see everything from start to finish.

The dash /interior has been a little bit of a compromise. The pad is not a good quality piece I was stuck with after buying, the gauge company didn't follow my directions when they installed the seat belt button. A sharp eye will see it is a 72 style with a 8 grand tach.  If you look real close you can see that is the non ralley dash heater control with a plug made for the space. Overall the interior is the weak link in the car but I can fix it when better parts are available.
I'm also fighting with the engine builder on the 69 valve covers trying to get 70 style ones. I guess everything was going too smooth so far now it's time for a little pain.

Had a little time to kill this afternoon so I installed the engine.
I really didn't want to put it in yet but we are going to need the cradle for another car some time next week so in it go's. :cooldancing:
It was a tight fit as you can see from the card board we used to keep the frame from getting scratched.
After the k frame bolts and trans mount was installed I checked the clearance on the trans to floor and was glad to see it wasn't touching anywhere so no floor mods were needed.
This week end I'll install the front brakes and steering column so we can move it around. It will be sometime before it runs on it's own but making some progress.
