    The whole thing is looking amazing Dave, you did an excellant job of the vinyl roof.   Any chance you have any tips for someone who will try doing the same when time comes buddy, does not look too hard but it does look a little fiddly and time consuming :2thumbs:

    To be honest I used the printed directions from Legendary and an article in Mopar Muscles web site for guidance.
    I found out not to stretch the material any more than necessary to get it to lay.
    I would try to find a trim shop glue and not the spray can stuff. Other than that it is pretty straight forward.

    Yeah it was,a friend of mine was finishing his and needed a early type hood for his in a hurry so I sold it to him. To be honest I am not that fond of Challengers with the shaker.
    I had bought the kit before the whole hoods came out and was kind of stuck with it .Thought that if I wanted to go shaker later I could just buy the whole hood if needed and it helped him out.

    Shakers look good on Cudas.  I always though that the  Challenger Rallye hood was one of the best looking hoods that Mopar made.  Seeing your car here, proves it.   Thanks!

    My brothers car is pretty much the same car as Daves but daves has got new shiny paint and new Gator top etc etc, still collecting bits for my Brothers Challenger SE :2thumbs:

    Just cruisin' the builds here and this one caught my eye. Nice - VERY nice. You sure started with a sweetheart too. It might have been asked, but ...can I ask how much you paid to start? Also, is that your shop - or do you "just" work there? That color looks awesome in the sunlight. I like the title of your thread too - I'm doing "just another 318"! (Of course they start off WAY rustier in Canada!!)

    Hi and thanks for the complements :2thumbs: I am the owner of the shop, and some would say I do work there but not many. :smilielol: I got very lucky in getting a very rust free car to start with. The cost was about average for a rust free shell when I bought it several years ago.

    I don't have any plans on selling it any time soon but you never know. I have a ton of money to put into it yet so it will take a while to finish.
    I followed a new Challenger last week-end and was thinking I could have bought one of them with what it will take to finish this one. :walkaway: If I decided to sell it now I would get killed money wise.But when it's done it will be just as fun ,so I  just need to be patient.
