Man that is awesome! I used to work at a gas station in high school, I wish I had a lift like that in my back yard
You are definitely getting closer, getting the itch to drive it yet?

You can't imagine how bad I want to get it done and go for that first ride! :faint:
It looks like about 6K to finish it up. So I guess it may be a while longer yet but I think it will make it out some time this summer.

Looks great !  have you run your emergency brake cables yet ? If so, I would love to see a pic of that if you got one. So i can see how to get around or through the sub-frame connectors

Keep up the great work,,, awsome

Here is a picture of the cable, the rear axle in the car is not the one I'll be using. The cable holes are 23" measured  from the tortion bar mount on the outside,32" from the inside. Looking back I didn't do a great job angling the hole so I'll put a gromment on it soon.

Time and money have been in short supply around here lately. I coach High school baseball so it has been taking up most of my time. I have gotten some stuff done but nothing notable.I still hope to have it done for this summer but we'll have to see how it go's.
I check  in from time to time to see how everyone is doing and it looks like things are going well .

Dave, thanks for the pictures. It looks like if I make it 24 and 33 inches will that fix the angle ? I like the grommet idea also.

That would probably work best, but I would start with a smaller hole and enlarge as needed. The cable is not attached in the picture so I went back and pulled cable tight to recheck. The cable also rides at the top of the whole near the floor pan so drill accordingly

Well it's been a while since a update so here I go!
The good news is it now moves under it's own power! :cooldancing:
The bad news is not ready for the road just yet. :walkaway: But getting closer.
I am waiting on back ordered seat covers, still need a Dana for it but I installed a 8 3/4 for now. The exhaust should be here in about a week. Then all that's left is tires, dana, shocks, wheel alignment, and a whole lot of little things. I will add some engine comp pictures later, the ones I have here are not very good.
At least I can listen to the stereo and move it from time to time now
