Well it's been some time now since I last checking in.
I have got some drive time on the car and all is well except for one small problem.
I lost a fuel pump push rod on it.
On a cruize I lost fuel and checking the pump I checked the rod to find it had ground a 1/4 of an inch off. :eek2:
I have since changed oil and installed a electric pump. As of now it runs but I HATE the noise the pump makes.
Over the winter I may check to see if the cam lobe is OK and go back to a manual pump.

Holley pump? In my BB Buick I have a Holley electric pump, I agree it drives me nuts! I have a Mallory pump to go in but haven't bothered to yet ( to busy driving the Challenger ) I'm told they are MUCH quieter.

Yep Holley. Some of the noise is the metal lines shaking. I have anchored them and it is better.

Hi everyone
Been awhile since posting.
As some may remember this build. I am about to start on a major upgrade on it :bananasmi
I am going to add a factory sunroof and factory power windows.
I was able to get a parts car with these options and the car itself is way past restoring so in go the parts to my car.
I had both my cars for sale to help my son cover his college bills and my Road runner sold.
Going to miss it but keeping the Challenger was my first choice anyway.
Any way hope this post is interesting, I know going deep into a complete car is going to be a little weird for me.
Dave

Some of that was before I had Photobucket and two toasted computers.  :walkaway:

Even the photobucket pics are gone.
I use Imageshack just for that reason.

if you can re load any that would be great.

I'll go back and see if I can fill some of the missing ones.
Should be able to piece some of it together.

Holy cow, you are taking off the Gator top and fitting a sunroof from another Challenger on :faint: this is a finished car, and it looks so sweet. Are you replacing the Gator top on to the sunroff too, that would look like something else with all these options and a Gator roof  :clapping:
I will have to check my pictures, i may have saved a heap of them, i will have to check and see if i did. :2thumbs:

Made a little progress today. Removed the headliner and most of the sound deadener.
The frame has been painted.
Next step will be trimming the header brace for clearance of the roof motor.
