Now here we go.
Got the top material and after a little adjustment it WORKS! :bananasmi
I still need to get some more seal material for the back of the roof panel.
The parts car came with a NOS seal but some one had apparently used some of it as there wasn't enough to do the whole panel.
On to the power window wiring now and button up the interior with the Mega parts door panels and ready for spring.

Thanks for the complement, :2thumbs: it was definitely some work to do this but I can't be happier with it!
Now waiting for spring is going to be hard to do, can't wait!
I should have my wiring and switches back from JS Restorations in about two weeks and can finish up the interior.

I'm sure Jim will do a top notch job as usual!  :grinyes:  I sure hope you bring the car to Carlisle, I'd love to check out your car in person!

Looks great.

I've never seen a sunroof gatortop Mopar ever.

I wonder how many were actually done like that if any.

Not sure on that but when I ordered the top Legendary said there were no Gator grains with sunroof and SE back window.
My guess would be the seams in the top interfering with the slider panel closing.
We got around that by removing the backing material at the seems and regluing them so they weren't so thick allowing the top to fully close.
That is what caused the confusion on the slider panel seems.

Love what you've done to your Challenger I have a 1970 B5 blue fully optioned Challenger it has power windows and sunroof, suregrip 3.25 8 3/4, aircond, cruise control, 6 way driver's seat, rear window defog, ralley dash, painted racing mirrors, console auto but only a 318 (matching). Anyway I just want to let you know you can get the original switch for the sunroof Bosch is remaking them the same switches are also used in early BMW's for the power windows. I had a crappy generic switch in mine and found out about these the part number is 0 343 302 003 they are available all over at parts stores and are cheap. As for the coupling there is a guy selling them on Ebay for about $10 I got one as a spare.

Sounds like a great car, optioned like the parts car I bought to get the sunroof.
Would you happen to have a link to the coupler? May want to buy a spare.
