Spot welds look nothing like original, but I guess those can be filled some to look more original.
Still on the fence as I have a perfect '71 flat hood w/the proper crumple zones, unlike these Taiwan repops.
I would like to see the Challenger underside of the repops to make sure they didn't use Cuda underhood braces (like Snobar's).
Also not sure if I want to put a crumple-zone '71-style repop on my '70. Especially since I also have two superb '70 flat hoods.

71fish, I don't think Scott et al. were trying to "rape" anyone. Research, development, tooling is hella expensive. Why do you think Adobe Photoshop is >$1,000? $600 for Microsoft office? You paying that much for the CD material itself?
W/o them, a lot of folks would have nil and we can thank them for stepping up to provide parts. They actually helped to show AMD, Goodmark that there truly is a market for these hoods.
