...I put on my magical HemiHat and decided to begin the pressure wash, scrape/palm sand, caulk, primer, and paint the wood and cement around my house including the sidewalk and back pad where a garage will house my Challenger when finished. The pressure washing occupied this past saturday (4 1/2 hrs), sunday (8 hrs), monday (8 hrs), and tuesday afternoon (3 hrs). Props to longtime neighbors who own 8 ft. stepladders and 2500 psi pressure washers
Of course by the time I fell asleep sunday, I was sore from my pinky to my little toe - "but it was a good sore"
The last two afternoons after work have been spent edging before one last mow prior to the leaves dropping. Then on to the sanding/scraping, caulking, priming, and painting my way around my shack. A small section at a time; a steady pace will see this project to it's conclusion and keep me from going nutso waiting for my Challenger to progress. After the paint will come stripping and pinting the metal of my front and rear porch areas and a fresh coat of concrete paint. There...that ought to keep me out of trouble for a while
Here's a few pics. As ya's can tell, this place needed a good scrubbing
My neighbors are probably thinking "...'bout freakin' time"
