Definitely some cool music being listened to out there in Mopar land. I saw Iron Maiden and Coheed and Cambria about 3 weeks ago and it was a fantastic show. Iron Maiden never fails to impress but I was shocked by C&C, they really brought the thunder! Never paid much attention to them before but wow they are a great band. As good as the lead guitarist is I think the singer is better!

I posted some Coheed earlier, didn't think most of the older crowd on here would like them. I've seen them here in Texas and they rocked! if you get used to his voice you'll love them

I saw Rush a couple of years ago and they sound alot alike so I kinda dig that tone of voice. I really like his playing as much as anything, he can really wail on that explorer!

ZZ Top is one of my faves.  The first few albums in particular but ya gotta get the vinyls because they remixed them in the '80s with the eliminator disco drums and it just sucks in comparison.  Hit youtube for the vinyl rips to see what I'm talkin about.  If you like pure raw tone this is what it's all about.

Always like ZZ-top I know they had a ton of albums before the 80's but I love all the 80's stuff.

Records in general are great!
As much as I love digital noise, I really like the analog sound.

Glad to hear good comments about the new zz top album.  I'll check it out.

I like the new ZZ Top CD but I wouldn't say it's my favourite one, pretty good though!  :2thumbs:

ZZ top would have to be my favorited band, sitting just in front of AC DC and Ozzy Osborne. You can't go wrong with tunes like 'sharp dressed man' and 'La Grange'! One of my favourite memories would have to be cruising with my Brother along the Beach front of Surfers Paradise (as close as Australia gets to Honolulu but a bit more bogan) in  his SS RS '67 Camaro with straight cut exhausts and La Grange playing at full volume! We may have been pulled over and given a 'noise infringement' that day but it was worth it! We will make the exact same trip once my Challenger is road worthy and I have enough time off work for an 1600mi round trip!

I was watching Texas Car wars and they re-did "The Love Machine"

That reminded me of this....

God this scene still cracks me up!
