I've been kicking around the idea of doing this song in my new band. I think I know what to do now.  :2thumbs:
Once we had Ronald Reagan, Bob Hope & Johnny Cash. Now we have Obama, No Hope and No Cash!

I just saw Wilco live last month, they were great. I haven't seen them with the "new guys" in the band.

Robert Gordon rules. I have seen him a few times with Chris Spedding playing guitar, last year he toured with Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) and Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats), awesome show, 200 capacity venue!

I saw Bow Wow Wow Feb 83 (Agora Ballroom - Atlanta); Hard to believe this is from nearly thirty years ago but it still gets me toes a tappin' :grinyes::

Twenty years since I was lucky enough to catch Mary's Danish (The Nick - Birmingham). 'Don't Crash Your Car Tonight' was their first hit, iirc they even had an appearance on The Tonight Show that i've got on vhs somewhere :ylsuper:

I caught the Swimming Pool Q's several times around Atlanta in the mid eighties; a very tight band out of Athens a la R E M.

Whenever someone posts about an anniversary I silently dedicate this song to 'em. It may or may not be accurate but it's all in the spirit, y'know? Besides, how can you go wrong with John Prine? Catch him if you get the chance :2thumbs:

The reason Jackson Browne is playing guitar? He is filling in for  Don Felder who is at the hospital watching his first child being born.
