What are you listening to?
« on: October 05, 2007 - 07:04:10 PM »
As I sit here I am listening to Gerry Rafferty's City to City. I also have one of the coolest songs ever recorded in my i-tunes library, Stuck in the middle with you by Gerry Rafferty and Stealers Wheel  :2thumbs: I am in a kinda funky 70's music vibe lately.

I constantly listen to Days of The New.....they're much like Alice & Chains, but 100x better (to me).  I'll just put it to you this way, their first album came out in 1998 and I can still listen to it today as if it was the first time hearing it.  It's like that with their other 2 albums as well......just solid music with a meaning.  :2thumbs:

I like most rock and a good portion of the newer stuff but my heart will always belong to Classic Rock.

I am totally sick of Classic rock we have about 12 stations here all with the same playlist  :swear:
what I prefer to listen to is newer Hard rock but with no radio stn playing it & no cassette player to tape new discs, & no CD player in my truck I either have 1 of the classic rock stns on or I turn it off completely .. I guess i need to buy some technology so I can listen to Godsmack , Tool etc
 NO FRIIGGIINN Cuntry though

Dethalbum by Metalocalypse

But I like Gerry Rafferty too, Baker Street is one of my favorite songs ever, the shortened version they play on the radio here sucks though-they cut out about a verse of the guitar solo, my favorite part.

Also picked up a new Foo Fighters album (yeah I said album, dating myself here) but haven't had time to check it out yet.
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

I`ve got that "American Band " album as vinyl, great one. Also got the "Caught in the act" and "Live album" with Grand Funk all three of them is great albums.I must find a way to convert them into digital files.
And of course Zeppelin.

Well, I was paging through my shop manual out on the work bench and I found a couple old music guides from 'back in the day'.  This is what was playing on the AM radio in Detroit during that time.  I was 16 years old....man time has sure flown by.
