    They havn't toured for ten years.  My last ST show was in 96.  They havn't released a new album since then.  Their new album comes out beginning of 2009.  The few songs they played off their new album sounded pretty good.

    If the radio worked, it would be IRON MAIDEN! But in the meantime, there is nothing like the sound of a Pontiac V8 and a set of Flowmasters!

     I have heard most of Death Magnetic & while it is better with more energy than some recent metallica I doubt I will rush out & buy it

    I just picked up GNR's new album last night, title track is OK but it doesn't even compare to the new AC/DC album IMO.

    :iagree:  I did not rush out and buy it either but a guy at work made a copy for me and the more you listen to it, the better it gets.  Takes about 3 listens to really start to like it.  It is a lot more like their old stuff  :ylsuper:

    I got the album about 2 months ago when it was leaked....it has taken me some time to get used of it, especially since I don't listen to their music a whole lot, but loved them as a band when they where "in".  I like it and will probably buy the album in the store soon.  :2thumbs:

    Death Magnetic is one of the best albums out right now(among bands that have been around for 10+ years). It's not Metallica's best, but it has a lot of energy and is a blend of a lot of their work from AJFA to RE-Load

    I cant get into new crap. Theres a ton of stuff that I dont think anyone listens to hear....  :dunno:
