Ever have a tune pop into your head from apparently nowhere. Happened to me today, got home for lunch & started trying to remember the lyrics...Ask the wife who's song it was she says Connie Francis..mmm I don't think so but it turns out she was right, sort of. Googled the lyrics & turns out this has been recorded many times, my version from 1970 below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqIQE4du6co&feature=relatedWho knew? Wade, I have Dave Edmond's version on my I-Pod. Now who the h@ll is Shakin' Stevens? Mike
Brett, I have that same song on a 45 done by Frigid Pink. It was from the late sixties, and sounds pretty close to that version by the Animals. Shouldn't Frigid Pink be a Mopar color?
That reminded me of one of my favorite tribute discs = The The's "Hanky Panky" It's a collection of Hank Williams cover tuneshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCn2GSkKKT4
