I'm looking forwrd to the new Danzig as well. He's appearing at the Festival of Fear in Toronto this summer, doing a meet and greet.

Last weekend was probably one of the best music expiriences in my life... first, the Diodes, then the New York Dolls, the Raveonettes, and IGGY and the STOOGES - all free, at two seprate out door festivals!!!!!!!!

Might be over the top for some. Zappa music is very complex orchestrated. Dweezil followed his father's footsteps very well. I saw this tonight on KQED public broadcasting. Dude is incredible.

Since I had the great fortune of seeing Rush kick off their tour in Albuquerque on the 29th I have been listening to their classics.
I was pissed because they started the night with this song and I was still walking down the hill. It sounded so good I told my buddy that no way was that them, it was the studio version, how wrong I was when I heard the cheers and saw they had just finished   :crying:

I used to go to allthe Rush concerts back in the mid 70s when virtually no one had heard of them & thay used to actually tour Canaduh , they were my fav band into the early 80s when their music went way to soft & political  for my tastes

They are not my fave but I definitely dig them. They played a bunch of their early stuff like Limelight, Red Barchetta, Tom Sawyer of course, Spirit of Radio, Temples of Syrinx, stuff like that. Was a blast.

I saw these guys on the 16th and had front row seats luckily. THey put on an AWESOME show gut did not play many of their classics.

This song was part of their encore. I really wanted them to play Wasted Years but it was not to be. They didnt even play Troopers, Aces High, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Run to the Hills, etc.
