Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats...they sound like a psychedelic Black Sabbath.

Here's another great new band called - Ghost. If you dig Merciful Fate, Ian Gillan era Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Gun, this is awesome!

Going to Chimaira tomorrow.

Had tickets but missed the Protest the Hero show tonight.  Right now.

Matt 70, Glad you dug Uncle Acid, a copy of that 7" sold for over $400 on ebay- uggh. I missed out on getting a copy... there is a full length cd avaiable on Rise Above records. I did score the limited Ghost LP.

'Cuda Hunter, too bad you missed Protest The Hero- local Toronto boys, played with them many times, great band.

Sucks I had to miss Protest the Hero.   I just recently started getting into them.

So, what's the name of your band?

At least I will not miss Chimaira and Unearth tonight.

I've seen both of them before, they put on a really good show so I figured I should see them for the third time tonight.

I just love to MOSH!!!   Legal violence at it's best!!    The show is at a small venue.  Very small.  The way I prefer them!

There have been a few bands over the years, the ones that have done well were - Grade (Victory Records), the Black Maria (Victory Records), and The Swarm aka Knee Deep In The Dead (No Idea Records), Acrid (No Idea Records), I spent 12 years on the road between the bunch.

RAM JAM - Black Betty. No explanation needed. No wimpy Euro rock.

Brownsville Station Lady Put The Light On Me. If you look it up on you tube go for the video at the top titled "sleazy louise / Lady (put the light on me)" The graphics are simply outstanding! '70s at it's best! and the song is phenominal. Crappy music today just can't compare.

Ok,

Now I can't believe you know this song.  I have it on a 45, but it wasn't big hit. Probably on American Tip 40 for 4 weeks.
