OMG!

You know about that song too?    :ylsuper:

A one hit wonder from 1977.

How about the original.

I'v been listening to the latest Flecktones CD in the car  and the  Tedeschi/Trucks LP at the shop.

Now I can't believe you know this song.  I have it on a 45, but it wasn't big hit. Probably on American Tip 40 for 4 weeks.
Hey, even I, born in Europe after this song was a in the charts, know this song. It's a classic!!

RAM JAM - Black Betty. No explanation needed. No wimpy Euro rock.
Have this on 45, and of course itunes too. Check out the version by Spiderbait, different but awesome.
I will listen to all kinds from Blind Melon and Michelle Malone to Metallica, Alice Cooper to Yes with even some Twisted Sister thrown in for kicks.
Of course in the Cuda I listen to the sound of $$$ sucking in through the 6bbl and out the 2.5" pipes. I will add a system someday but for now the 340 plays the perfect solo for me.

Been listening to a lot of Canadian bands lately. April Wine, Chiliwack, Loverboy, BTO, Gordon Lightfoot, even a little Trooper! all off you tube. Crazy Canuks will rock your world! lol. There is a whole lot more out there! I think that there were alost more Canadian bands than U.S. bands.

Gumby,

  We sure have similar tastes.

I think this was 1979.

My favorite local radio station, Buzz103.1, went off the air a few weeks ago.  Replaced by more Pop garbage.  They are trying to keep the station going on-line.  Best mix of classic alternative rock I've heard in a LONG time.  A blend of old & new

Watching Coldplay bringing in the New Year on PBS. Great show!
