Thanks again. i just realized another problem...I got Four belts bolted to the tunnel...
Guess I'll just have a couple of extra unused bolts showing.

The '70 stock belts (black good shape) worth much $ ?

chevyconvert, should you decide to sell, i'd be interested in your belts for my R/T SE as mine have mostly disintegrated over the years. I've seen several sets go on ebay for $500+ as the 1970 set is unique.

Does everyone usually change the rear belts to match?

So, do I read this right, that the XV belts are direct bolt-in replacements on the tunnel and headliner?  This seems like an upgrade I'm eager to make, if so.

simple answer yes, but with a molded shape at the console (female part) side that could be better.
