Rallye Dash install help plz....
« on: October 07, 2007 - 12:12:52 PM »
Here is where I am so far.

Removed old standard gauge cluster.
Retrofitted wiring harness with kit from RTE.
Replaced with complete rallye gauge cluster from RTE.
Got everything working, tach, oil, temp, etc.
Now trying to install the rallye bezel piece and kinda stuck....

The old black one came out without removing or doing anything to the dash pad.
I'm struggling with seeing how I can install the woodgrain one without removing the dash.

Help ole wise ones that I know have been down this road before....

Drop your steering column & the left side has to be turned so that the left wing can slide in 1st.
You install the right side 1st then the left switch panel.

It sounds to me like maybe he has the switch panel already installed, which is a no-no.  :clueless:

No the switch panel on the left is not in yet.  But dropping the steering column might do it, sounds like what I need...
i'll go try that.
thanks for the tips.
