'71 challenger 'sport stripe V7F'
« on: January 14, 2004 - 01:29:09 PM »
Can anybody describe what the stripe looks like for a '71 challenger coded with the 'sport stripe V7x' (x being the color). I know that on '70 and '71's V6x is the longditudal R/T stripe, and V5x is the side molding, and V9x is the 'bumble bee', but what the heck does V7x look like??? Is it the pinstripe???  Also the car in question is coded V7F which means the stripe is green (ledger green)... any idea what shade or is there some references out there?

Wow, holy dead threads Batman! I am sure you know by now but my car has that stripe labeled as V7W. It is actually a painted double pinstripe. The one example I saw had the strip stopping off just behind the door like the R/T and non R/T tape stripe. I want just a bit more flash on my car so I am going back with the non R/T tape stripe.
