Just need to crop the sky and cement a bit more.

I use the free IRFANVIEW viewer to do that.  Super EZ.

They just start running richer as the oxygen level thins out. At 10,000 you only need to ingest about half the gas you do at sea level.

They have been racing up Pikes Peak for over 80 years now. 14,000 ft and carbs isn't an ideal combination, but it can be done without too many issues, just a lot of black smoke.

I'm working on a video of a ride up.So you can all check it out. It's one of the most amazing things...a road with so many turns you get tired! I cruise along about 65 ,she hugs 'em clean. Living here and driving these very curvy roads is like a fantasy for me. It is REALLY fun. I really love these cars. I'm having a BLAST!    Soon a 5 speed,mayby Baer brakes,Still dreamn' of EFI,and XV.  I have a "vision" :screwy:
