Musclecars Stage on USS Midway
« on: October 08, 2007 - 03:59:09 PM »
I just caught a bit on Fox with Shepard Smith showing various musclecars staging against each other on the flight deck of the USS Midway with proceeds to benefit charity. It seemed that they only went 75-100 ft with a crash barrier erected at the end jic :22yikes:
First up was a lime green 440-4 Superbird taking a 69 428 Mach 1, followed by a Vette vs an El Camino. The segment ran out of time as a Foosified 'Cuda was about to stage against an orange 70 Challenger R/T with shaker. It'll probably go into their rotation for a time. Heck, if it was done i'd play with my Challenger on the deck of an aircraft carrier :grinyes: :burnout:
Shep mentioned having to drive a yellow Ford Pinto in his younger days, no wonder he's got such a chip on his shoulder :poopoke:
