Carlisle Burnout Contest 04
« on: January 15, 2004 - 03:18:24 PM »
I know that this was already mentioned in the Carlisle 2004 post, but figured that I'd start an independent thread.

Who here is going to represent Cuda-Challenger in the Carlisle burnout contest?

1 1/2 years or so ago the list

3 sets of rear tires....front still look like new ;D

1 904 trans...sprag messed up duster

blew a trans line.

1 7 1/4 rear....spiders gone...going to change to  8 3/4 anyway..duster

but that's my excuse to go bigger...

like the guy in the movie HOT ROD said if it blows with one 4 bbl. go dual quad, if that blows inject it. always build faster
then the girl said how far
till it's an automatic...which is boring  ;D

Sounds like you'll need a sponsor before entering into the burn out contest. :) I'm sure it's well worth it though.

Yeah... I remember those!!! :o ;D And to think... that's BEFORE your big ass Hemi project!!! :o :o ::)

IF my 'Cuda is together enough by that time... and I take it (trailer it most likely)... I'll enter it assuming the majority of the bugs are worked out and she's had a good break-in period.... ;D ;D ;D

I thought about it, but I don't think so.  Too soon...maybe next year.

Since when does Carlisle have a burnout contest? ??? I've been for about the last 12 or so years and I've never seen it. They have that stupid balance on the ramp thing instead.
