What is the best method of applying billboards?

Check around your area to see if there are any race shops, (drag racing, circle track, etc.) most of these cars are running vinyl now instead of paint.  They can point you to someone who knows thier stuff and or do it on the side..

I've seen them putting the vinyl paint jobs on the race cars on TV and a friends sign shop also has a complete CAMO Dodge truck.  That type of vinyl is put on dry and pulled off and stretched multiple times as part of the installation.  Billboards are not put on that way since they come with the front backing paper.

It's very simple. Pay the guy $50, that knows what he's doing, and save the headake. That's what I did after wrecking the first stripe kit. We got it on OK but it was full of bubbles and then pin holes. It look like crap. The pro took about a hour and not ONE single bubble!!

I've heard of a sign shop that does decals and paintings for advertisements on trucks. I'm going to look into them. The body shop that did the original set wants to do it again but I think I'd help if I go that route just for another set of eyes and hands. I'm pretty good with stripes and decals but the 71 billboard is much bigger than anything I've done. I painted the Vette and did the hood stripe and I've done quite a few others but I'm going to weigh all this out and wait and see what I find in the way of a person with experience.
