WHich title company do people use
« on: October 14, 2007 - 09:15:16 AM »
I am looking to get a title for a parts car that I have. A guy I know wants to buy it, but not without a title.

It's all legit. I bought it from a guy who bought it from someone that is now deceased. I knew all parties.

I have looked at several title companies, but they require proof of insurance, however, in PA I can't get insurance unless I can provide proof of ownership (title, not a bill of sale, which I have). Catch-22.

Does anyone know of a reputable title company that doesn't require proof of insurance? I'm not talking registration or license, just a title.

The owner of my 72 Cuda couldn't find the title and the State of MO could not find any records of it even though it had a '92 state inspection sticker. I had him sign a bill of sale.

Got me a the paperwork to be able to get a MO title.  It took about 6 months, so be patient.
