Photos of my Car Before I Purchased It
« on: January 17, 2004 - 01:35:19 AM »
I just felt like posting some photos of what my car looked like....Kinda to give me inspiration while I'm waiting for the bodywork to get finished....It didn't make it in last weekend or during the week because we had a big snow in.... :'(  Here are the pics.

Cool, looks like someone started the body work and then stopped. My car looked alot worse but for some reason the floors were like they came from the factory. Rock soild, and also the trunk!  The problem with my car was that it had a vynil roof and the roof rotted in the corners and the trunk to window filler piece.  I have to post some pictures. the work we did was pretty intense. I actually bought a parts car just for the good roof pieces and stepped and flanged it for a perfect fit. Also bought a new trunk filler piece. When the metal work was done, it need so little filler it was unbelieveable. Ill try to get some pictures, Nick

Thanks street, I hope to see pictures of your car when it's out of the shop. I like seeing cars hot rodded and under resto more that seeing finished show cars. they just don't do anything for me. Maybe thats why I have more fun roaming around junkyards then going to a car show and seeing factory looking cars......

Check out that frame rail by the steering box! :o Top of the inner fenders are rusted . I got alot of new parts for it though. So far i blasted the whole engine bay and have a rust free front clip. Next is to remove all suspension and K frame, fix the frame rail and fully smooth out the engine bay.I deff saved this one. i dont think many people would have saved her if i didnt. The rear floors are rusted too,  Keep the pics coming guys ;D
