Anybody have a pic of a TA in Gunmetal paint?

I don't think I've ever seen one in that color. I'd like to though.

Do you mean Light Blue Metallic? Gunmetal did not come out until the next year.

Barry is right as my 71 Challenger RT is Gunmetal GA4 and it was only offered in 1971 and 1972.

Thanks for the info.  Wasn't paying attentiont to years; my bad.  Just trying to see what it would look like in the color.

71340RT, could I get you to post a couple of larger pics of that car, or send to me?

As far as I know, there were two blue T/As at Carlisle this year. Both of them were EB5 - Bright blue metallic.  :dunno:

Not a T/A but right color.  Car we sold a while back w/ some upgrades the customer wanted.

Thanks, DQ.  With the similarity o the 71 RT and the TA stripes, that gives me a pretty good idea of what it would look like.

Sooooo what ya planing HK??

I'm starting to work up some depictions of what the car might look like with different options; all sorts of things ranging from color to stripe selection to wing/soilder selection to redesigning the grill. I've more or less settled on a TA style hood and customized TA style stripes, and probably a TA ducktail, and I'm thinking about switching the color to gunmetal, so I thought that if there was a gunmetal TA I could get a good idea of how the whole package would look.  All for the future; in the short term I'm back to trying to find someone to put in my floor pan  :stomp:

That is saaaaaweet.

That is a really good looking car.

What are you thinking  about for the grill?....I have thought about taking a stock piece, removing the horizontal bars & replacing with a metal mesh painting black...also paint all of the hedder panel black or dark but keep the body molding body color.
