So how was your morning???
« on: October 18, 2007 - 03:26:40 PM »
Been a great morning for me. I'm a bit sore , gonna call the doc. As part of the over-the-hill gang I gotta be a little more care-full. Thank God it wasn't NIKKI then I'd be sore and P-O'D!

Yikes!  Glad you're alright.  So what exactly happened?  I don't see any signs of a rollover, so that's good.  It looks like someone side-swiped you? :dunno:

Bigs, thats awful.  Glad to hear that you are semi-ok, youre good enough to come tell your buds on cc.com though!   :ylsuper:

I'm guessing from his wording that he may have been at fault.  Only guessing.  Glad it wasnt Nikki!   :-[

Well guys, now that I got a little time I can tell you the story. I was doing some business down in Racine this morning. Street and 71 , you guys know where this is. For those that don't it's a bit south of Milwaukee... the power tour was just there this year. Any way here it goes... I was driving north on a main road (no stop lights or signs) and a woman in a 95 Windstar van crpulled away from her stop sign just as I was approaching the intersection. :screwy: I instantly swerved to avoid her (only doing 25-30) she caught my front tire and the pics tell the rest of the story.

She broke my spindle - axle - brake line. as she caught the rear end she bent the rear end - leaf spring and pulled the drive shaft out of the transfer case. I haven't had time to investigate futher.

Anyway, called 911. Had my buddy coming with the rollback before the cops even got there. Now the kicker... I go up and ask the driver (a female I presume to be from a Ganesh worshiping county)(hows that for politically correct?) that doesn't speak English!!!!!!!!! She went to the gas station to call somebody, I don't know if it was here husband -brother-uncle?? But he gave me here name which translates to ndhudebeksdjebdghdjdendeh  :roflsmiley: Anyway turns out they have the same insurance company as I do. She was ticketed on the scene.                                                                                                                                                       So by the end of the day I'm pretty sore. But I remained cool and got a 300M as a rental for a few days. I will the the ins. co. handle it and go from there...  If it been NIKKI it may have been a night on a hard cot.. who knows..  :dunno: This is kind of a condensed version.. but I've told the story quite a few times today.  :faint:

Thanks for the good words!  :grinyes: Neck's pretty sore today/had x-ray this morning. Should be ok. The 300M nice and roomy /handles well/average performance but has the base motor not the HEMI! Talked to the insurance adjuster today. Told her my truck was totalled... she asked why I said that. Then I told here what I do for a living and based it on the totals I see at the auction weekly. OH she says... the appraiser comes out next week. Stay tuned!

Great that you`re okay after all, it could have been a lot worse.
BTW, if you would `ve been driving Niki that day, you probably would `ve passed that intersection some 20 miniutes earlier :burnout:
Hope your neck don`t get any worse
