Scott, I know you make BOTH styles, I am just looking to buy the round style and can't figure out if the one cudagirl is selling is the round type or the square kind.

If she has the square style then I will just order the round one directly from you.

Whichever she has, be sure it's one of ours if that's what you want, there is a BIG difference between ours and our competitors products, get a pic and compare.

:horse: HA- HA!!  Confusion strikes again. Whether it is a Harms Grip or not it seems positive that it is a squared stick type... which is not what I need. :) I will be calling you soon Scott.

Harms. Inc.

I would love to try one of those pistol grip shifters.  :2thumbs: They look really tough (and sexy too). Do you have a web site where I could purchase one of your shifters?? Thanx!!

Yes it is cowboy the handle they sell aftermarket but i am putting a mega shifter in the car better for racing the car then the original shifter.

michele

Just out of curiosity, why change to a "Every Ford & Chev has one" mega shifter?
The slap stik will work better and is unique to Mopar, cables =  :eek4:

Fair enough, not arguing your decision.

But, if you're missing a gear with your slap stik then the mechanism isn't working properly. You can not miss a gear with it when it's functioning properly. It has the same simple principle as the cable type just the slap stik uses steel rods instead of plastic coated cable. As for practicality some may argue the point, I've heard quite a few guys experienced or not, have the odd occasion where finding Reverse or 1st is a little awkward. It works exactly the same. Again, not trying to sway you just filling you in so you are aware prior to purchase.

Thanks for the insight the shifter works fine but i like the fact that with the new shifter there is no way for me to have a problem i have shifted up into netural a couple times and dont want to over rev my engine. We are taking shifter out in a couple of weeks  and putting all parts in my mopar cabinet in the garage for later use or sale.
