Who else travels for living working on the road?
« on: October 21, 2007 - 03:10:46 PM »
I've been doing it for decades and I still get home sick.  Yeah, I site see, and do about anything I want, but I always end up staring at my laptop pictures of my home accomplishments and get home sick.

I registered my 70 barracuda 3 weeks ago and drove it about for 1 day. I ended up putting 15 miles on the new 440-6 and had to cover it up and go on the road for a month.  My new tag says cuda6pk and should be home waitng for me next week. Just board in this BestWestern motel room, cruisin cc.c and looking over at my wife cruising on the other laptop. She's a mod for slingo , so she's doing her thing and I'm doing mine.

It's WINDY  in Oklahoma right now- I wanna go run the fuel out of this tho

I know how you feel. I'm about to board a plane for Louisiana for 5 days.
I'd rather be working on the car. But this training is for a raise in grade and
eventually a raise in pay. So I guess it'll be worth it.

I travel lots for work as well. I always drive to where i'm working and its usually within 1000kms of home. However, I could be gone up to a month at a time.

Hey Al, if it could be worse, at least you have your wife with you and a car to come home to.      :2thumbs:
