1970 Gator grain survivor Satellite
« on: October 22, 2007 - 12:35:39 PM »
This car stopped at the shop today and I thought I'd share some pictures. This car is unbelievably nice! 20,000 miles and as nice a survivor as I have ever seen and coded for the gator grain top! All original paint and it is a detail time capsule.
I'm going to get a hold of the mopar survor club I'm sure they would like to know about this one.

He told me he has had offers as high as 15K but hasn't sold it, probably fishing for a price. I told him I have no idea what something like it would be worth.
It is more of a Mopar survivor tent car then something I would want.
It is on the other hand very unique.

I did some checking and as far as I can tell that top wasn't offered on Satellites, so it could be a 1 of 1. It has the build sheet still under the seat. He saw it there and didn't want to remove it,I said I'd like to see a copy of it if he would remove it.

Dave,

How does the paint look? Even though it's a small block, I'm surprised he hasn't gotten an offer better than 15K.  :screwy:

One odd thing is the hood mounteed turn signal indicators, I don't think I've ever seen them mounted there before, I took a picture and they seem to be factory.

I gave it a real good look it is 100% factory original. You really have to see it to get a feel of how clean this car is. The gas tank is not even corroded.

Dave,

I have to agree with you there, but I'm not totally up on the B-Bodies. I know on E, and A bodies they were on the fenders.  :clueless:
