« on: October 22, 2007 - 07:29:19 PM »
I hae an OEM sway bar I bought that I need to sell. Am going with a larger aftermarket unit (thanks Brent!) Unit is a little rusty and only includes the bar, and frame bushings. Asking $50 or might trade for other Cuda parts

Mike, what else is needed for install? does someone sell the mounting hardware? are there any mounting points that need to be added to a non-rear-swaybar car? my car has the front swaybar and i know the lower control arms are different. thats why i ask......

is this straight?  :chatting:

I never installed it but from the research I gathered I was going to need the two saddle shaped mounts w/bushings for the frame and the endlink bolts with nuts, washers and rubbers like these. My car already has the lower mount brackets located near the spring perches.

Actually the plate for the sway bar mounts on top of the spring.  You still use the original shock mounts.

wally426, it looks like you need the frame mount brackets, end links and bushings, and mounting plates. Like ksierens said, the mounting plate is a seperate plate that mounts on top of the spring, under the axle, and does not change the shock bracket.

If wally426 doesn't want it and you don't mind shipping it up north to Colorado, I'll take it.

firm feel should sell everything you need for a stock mount rear sway bar... including the rear upper leaf spring mounts.

:iagree: Their lower plates even looks like the original, but they won't sell them separately.

I'm going to fab up my own adjustable mounts that can alter the arm length, so this is perfect.

I'll take it!  Shipping would be to 80907. PM me and we can work out payment.
