I went to the SEMA booth of the mfg. that make them and I asked what kind of deal could I get on a 426 Hemi
mock block and they told me $450.00.

You could get the 440 block for $250-300 and mock up hemi heads on it. Dimensionally the blocks are identical, it is all in the heads where interference occurs.
