Since this thread is'nt about Carlisle, a Mopar club, and certainly not about an upcoming event, i'll post some pics here in the off-topic forum.
This summer, i've been to a few car-meets. One of them was partly Mopar-only, sounds a bit contradictory, i know, but this was because the norwegian Mopar club, Walter P. Chrysler Club of Norway had a meet at a racecourse together with some other clubs. That meant that i could joyfully wander around and take pictures of cars that i until then had no idea of being in existence. And some more known cars that demanded to be taken pictures of just because they were pretty ballsy in a 60's and 70's european sort of way: Not very much hp, but could drive on two wheels between scattered sheeps in a alpine hairpin turn without alarming the sheeps, at several hundred miles per hour.
The other were free for all nice cars, no "club only" affairs, but the majority of the attendance was of american iron.
Since "some of you know what the all the popular Mopars looks like" is a bit of an understatement at this forum, i've decided to not post pictures of mopars, unless they're real nice, or sticks out in some other way. Same goes for FooMooCows and Gee Emms. Unless it's a Hot Rod, then they're by default cool, and are to be revered.
First out, from Oslo at Ekeberg Camping's green grass.
This one to make all the other look even better, a rice'd Astro:
I don't know if Ford Falcons are a common sight in the US these days, but a nice Falcon cab is worth a few bytes:
The Kamikazewagon could've been rebadged as a Dodge, so i don't feel too bad about it being next to the fine Volvo PV.
Get'em while they're young:
Dig those headrests!
We really don't see AMC's too often, so here goes:
This one is a bit... ...different. Based on a truck?
Young one with good parents:
Despite what i wrote earlier, i have to post a sea of Mustangs.
I must apologise for my countrymen, they have simply misunderstood something, namely that Norway is land of the fjords, not land of the Fords:
Yeah, it's a one more Ford, but it sticks out, and it was parked near the Mustangs:
Hey, there's a sticker back there!
It says:
Nice flames!
"Spis Drammens Is" means " Eat Drammens Ice Cream".
This restoration is probably accurate to every little detail:
From another place, Tyrigrava Kro, or Tyrigrava Tavern just outside Oslo.
It was bad weather, and poor attendance, so it won't be many pictures.
