FM3 T/A clone for possible sale
« on: October 27, 2007 - 02:25:18 PM »
Ok, now have a 69 roadrunner on the way, and need the room in the barn to finish the 70 R/T challenger sunroof car, so pinky is up for sale again.

Car is a factory FM3 challenger deputy, 318 3 speed from Ma Mopar. 1 of 3 known FM3 deputy Challengers. Now a 340-6 4 speed T/A clone. Show quality paint/body, very well detailed car. PS, PDB, rallye gages, 3.91 sure-grip, T/A exhaust, 15 inch rallyes. Detailed wheel wells, CLEAN undercarriage. NO rust anywhere. All trim has been polished. Runs excellent, tight car. Original fender tag and broadcast sheet verify the car as a real FM3 car.

I'm looking for $38K firm for the car. It's a beautiful car that attracts a crowd everywhere it goes, even more so than the hemi cars I've owned.

Pleny of pics available. E-mail me at dvmapres@aol.com

Please pardon my ignorance but what is a Deputy Challenger?  I've never heard that before.  :dunno:

The Challenger Coupes = Deputy.

The A93 package included;

Low line bucket seats
Fixed rear windows (ie coupe vs. hartop)
Rubber floor mats (although most have carpet.)
Black rim steering wheel.
Single horn
No cigar lighter (optional though)
Standard rear view mirror.

The A93 package was also available on Barracuda and B-Bodies for 1970-1971. They were the lowest cost cars for the buyer with less cash that still wanted a new car.

Thanks, it is a great car, but I've had this idea of getting a viper on and off for years, and this time it feels right to make that move.

No, original drive train gone.

Never checked the block, but the carbs, intake, and air cleaner are all original trans am pieces. I do believe the heads are also. I'll have to look at the block the next time I get a chance.

Why is it that cars like this pop up after I bought one?
