I have been working with firewall now. Body looks pretty empty when I removed old firewall.

Someone has been there before :roflsmiley:

Thats a firewall from AMD, fitted nicely, cowl top needs some more work. I´ll post more pictures about installing cowl when Im done with it.

i have to accomplish the firewall feet one day!! doesn't the AMD firewall go all the way down to the pinch weld on the floor pan? how bad was it to do this job? i know the car needs to be braced so it doesn't flex on ya. i see you did that across the windshield frame.

Yes it goes all way down, I decided to split it, because there was rust free area down there. This job , my oppinnion, fairly easy. Just take your time and what needs to go where before you weld. I used sheet metal screws to attach both parts before welding.
When I was ready, I removed screws and weld those screw holes up.

I braced it from winshield frame and I also welded two strong pipes from chassis beam to ground, just below firewall. With that setup I could not see any flex on body.
