I recently scored what I hope to be a great deal on this '72 Challenger.  Sure it needs some cosmetic work but it runs and runs well.  I'm hoping to ask the forum a load of questions because I'm not really much of a wrench turner.  I just know I have always wanted a Challenger and finally fulfilled the mid-life crisis and purchased one.
I'm enclosing some pics of my new ride.  I've already been asked, so I'll explain.  The guy who had the car put some black on the lower parts of the car seems to change the way it looks. i.e. makes the illusion in the pics and at first glance that the fender wells are huge or that the car lines are significantly different.  Also the sharktooth design on the hood took some getting used to, but I think it's starting to grow on me.
My first addition was a pair of fuzzy dice.  Is anyone else that retro that they really desired a set?  Made me laugh when I hung them from the mirror, but they seem to fit.
Glad I found this forum, it's already been a wealth of information!!

Hi Kori,
I'm glad to see that you introduced yourself and the car here. Another welcome aboard to you. :2thumbs:
I don't think you will find a better group of Mopar people. The have treated me very well.
Lastly, I hope all is well with you enduring the fires. For the overseas people that might not know, southern California has and is suffering with some of the worst wildfires ever.
Let us know how it is going out there, please.

Very cool car, Kori!

I like the stripes!
