727 valve body question
« on: October 31, 2007 - 10:06:40 AM »
The transmission in my 73 Cuda was replaced by an earlier model 727 (from a 1970 A-Body w/340) which does not have part throttle kickdown. Browsing eBay, I saw a valve body that looks like it may have part throttle kickdown (see pic below). The part number in the eBay ad is: 3743142. Looking at the pic, can someone tell me if this valve body has part throttle kickdown?
Thanks,
Martin

Yes it does! It is the little valve body part that is right above the filter corner that is showing. :grinyes: As long as the picture is really a pic of what you would  be getting. ::)

Thanks, tactransman!

I suspected that it might, but I wasn't sure. I'll bid on it and hope for the best.
